Hawks Hill by Allan W.Eckert

SIGNIFICANCE

This book is real important for everyone to read. It talks about a littile boy named Ben Mcdonald. He has speciol learning diabilities though so it was a hard life for the family watching him grow. He one day gets lost in the woods. It started on the lsat day of school when him an his 2 sisters on there way home from school. There oldest brother john was picking them up. When they were driving home an they ran into there parents worst enemys GEORGE BURTON! They saw him on the bridge to get to their house an it just goes from their an gets real exciting, I enjoyed it.

PERSPECTIVE

The author of this book is ALLAN W. ECKERT. This was happening of the time 1800's. What ALAN W. ECKERT did good is she described the settenings. When she spoke of george burton she said a dark black night eith a pouncy white smoothe trust steed. What everyone who reads this book should walk away with feeling of appreciating your family an what you got.

EVIDENCE

What I think the author was trying to describe was that indians are not evil people. Wen the littile boy got lost they took real good of him an every one that was not an indian thought they were redskin stupid people. The author supports it by talking abot them taking care of Ben Mcdonald the littile boy who got lost. They fed him then took him back to his home, when george burton the evil guy who kidnapped his mom, he (george burton) tryed to kill him. when every one saw that they all agreed that indians are not so bad.

CONNECTION

After all this happened it changed every one thought about indians an then they became friends. After I read this book it made me want to read more about indians an how they live. This probley changed alot because there would not let no one learn about the indians an we would have not knowen eany history about them.

SUPPOSITION

What I thought would have happened is bens family, friends, and neighbors came an attack the indians which was what they were planning. If i was in bens place I would tryed an run away becuase all that thry said about the indians I would ahve been really scared. If bens family never finds ben but they find out the indians did something to them, the indians an the civilized people would never be friends an they would be worse enimies. Today there would be some hatred btween some people.
